dream forgotten immediately when I woke up. isn’t that frustrating?
dream forgotten immediately when I woke up. isn’t that frustrating?
I’m in my basement, attempting to clean up a mess, thinking about the time I slept in my basement right after I got home from a big event which I can’t remember right now. That event was either prom, or new years, or something. I found my sister’s computer charger that she has been missing. I also found my phone charger and was bringing them upstairs. At some point I made my way to the library, at which point I saw Lauren Harp, who told me she went to eat with Stuart Fox and then went to see a movie, of which I have forgotten the title. For some strange reason, I felt a little jealous, but I knew it wasn’t appropriate for me to feel jealous. She was explaining the movie to me in detail, and the next thing I know I’m at a home with a mother and three children that I know in the dream world. Martha Ann and some other friend is with me, but I can’t remember who. They are getting ready for a big trip, and they pack a lot of bags and put them into my car. We drive up to the place where the mother is going to get picked up, and I must be responsible for getting the three kids to their destination at this point. Outside the car, as the mother is rearranging her bags and packing them into another, there is a rapper who wrote an original song for Auburn University. He is performing on the side of the road. The mother goes inside the building next to the road to get taco bell. After the mother leaves, Martha Ann and I decide we want to go get food as well. Martha Ann goes inside to go ahead and order. I stay out at the car and attempt to get all of the children’s bags into the trunk of the car. The rapper attempts to help me, but I push him away, forgetting how famous he is. I finally get some bags in the trunk, and I carry as many inside with me as I can, to avoid any robberies from my car. I find Martha Ann at Taco Bell, already eating. I realize I need to get my phone out of the car because I had forgotten to invite him to the gnu comedy show, so I walk back outside, hoping on the way there that I hadn’t forgotten my key in taco bell. I run into Jamie Burr, who gives me a high five, but continues walking. I also see Warren McKnight, who had walked all the way to the front of the long building to get her favorite kind of salsa. All I said to her was “What are you doing here?” and continued walking. I saw Mr. Bennett and a strange man walk by and lick his ear, but Mr. Bennett didn’t seem to think it was weird. When I got outside, I realized I had left my car in the middle of a street with moving traffic. I started pacing around yelling and hoping my car didn’t get towed. I saw a police officer, and asked him PLEASE tell me my car didn’t get towed!? He said, I’m sorry there’s nothing I could do. I begged him, and I told him I only left the car there for TWO minutes, and I explained all the the things I had to help do and why I was there and the kids I had to take car of. For some reason, I wasn’t worried about where the kids in the car had ended up, I was only worried about the fact that my car had been towed. I kept pleading for about 15 minutes. There was a strange red cone in the road where my car had been with the logo of the Honda H on it. The police just said, “There’s nothing I can do, it’s a federal misdemeanor.” The emotion of the ending of the dream was panic and slight frustration. And then I forced myself awake.
